HCC Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan Consultation open to 20.09.2024

Dear Stakeholder,

Thank you for your continued input into the East Herts Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP)

We are currently working through all feedback and emails.

Extension to the Engagement Period – Now Closing on 20th September.

Due to the strong public interest in the East Herts LCWIP, we have decided to extend our engagement period for a further 4-weeks to give all residents the chance to contribute to the process.

Our draft walking and cycling networks show where there is greatest potential future demand for walking and cycling for everyday journeys – for example, to get to school, to work, or to the shops.

These primary and secondary routes could potentially become the future walking and cycling routes of the future and they show where we will prioritise finding ways to help improve safety, accessibility, clean air and other factors that help people of all ages feel confident walking and cycling.

Are the routes in the right places? Are there any specific positive changes or new routes you would like to suggest? Leave your comments on the map before the 20th September.

Please share this engagement opportunity with your friends, family, and colleagues who live and work in East Herts. Your feedback will be used to ensure our plans reflect the needs of the community.
